Definition: - Resentment is an accumulation of negative emotions such as hatred, irritation, anger, frustration, dissatisfaction, grudge, and disappointment directed at a person.
Signs and symptoms of resentment in a relationship include behaviors such as withdrawing and acting out.
Causes of Resentment: Lack of respect or lack of appreciation. No compromise between couples or parties. High expectations from the other side. Unable to forgive or let go of the past.
