Ms. Shajitha and her late husband
Ms. Shajitha Rahim (my neighbor and classmate) has faced overwhelming hardship in the past one and a half year. She lost her husband, brother, mother, and sister within this short time.
Her family spent Rs. 15,00,000 on critical treatment for her husband, but he sadly passed away a couple of months later. Since then, Shajitha herself has been suffering from a rare chronic disease and serious health complications that have left her in a bedridden condition.
Current Medical Condition
Shajitha has undergone and is managing multiple health issues, including thyroid surgery, backbone-related problems (including a broken backbone), right shoulder muscle dislocation, erosion in both knees, pressure and sugar complications, and severe body allergy caused by after-effects. She must visit doctors frequently and relies on costly medicines regularly.
Monthly Expenses
This family is struggling to meet basic monthly costs:

Family Situation
Her son, a daily wage employee, is taking care of and protecting her, but he is struggling to manage the extremely high cost of medical care and daily living expenses. They also began building a house with Government assistance, but it remains incomplete due to their financial situation.
